We're in Lima, Peru!

What an opportunity to visit Lima, Peru, to attend this year's Memory Studies Association Conference: Memories in Transit! 🇵🇪

Jude Mullan and I showed our VR film Border Sounds, made with PRONI curator Lynsey Gillespie when the three of us worked on the coolest project on Earth, a.k.a. Making the Future in 2021. You can read more about it (and watch Border Sounds) here.

We had great conversations about the immersive potential of VR (and its limitations) as well as about the power of poetry and participatory storytelling. It was also great to hear about some cool projects happening particularly in the Global South.
